Rachel Pettid is the daughter of Michael Pettid of Prudential Omaha real estate. She is a 2013 graduate of Millard North High School.
Rachel was a Mustang Mentor and served on her junior class board. She was coordinator of Unlimited Possibilities, which planned homecoming and prom events for students with special needs. She also raised funds for groups such as the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.
Her honors include National Honor Society, Nebraska Wesleyan University Award and University of Nebraska-Kearney Deans Scholarship. She also earned the Bearcat Advantage Scholarship and was named a Tower Scholar at Northwest Missouri State.
Rachel is attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her major is pre-elementary education and education for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
