AmeriSpec Inspection Services and TNT Termite Services announce the winners of the 2012 Future Leaders Scholarship Awards. They are Madeline Blaha, Heidi Black and Kaitlyn Hoefer.
The Future Leaders Scholarship Program was launched in 2010 as a part of our “Partner in the Community” efforts in support of the local real estate industry, with the intentions of providing educational assistance for leaders of tomorrow.
The recipients of the three one-year, $1,500 scholarships were selected based on preparatory school records and scores on college entrance exams, as well as on character.
In addition, each recipient must demonstrate good citizenship, be a participant/leader in extracurricular activities and have work-related experiences during their high school years.
Madeline Blaha, the granddaughter of Curtis Crandall (HOME Real Estate – Pioneer Greens), graduated from Blair High School in Blair. She will be attending Vanderbilt University and pursuing a psychology major.
Heidi Black, the daughter of Bill Black (CBSHOME – Northwest), graduated from Elkhorn South High School in Elkhorn. Sarah will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and pursuing a major in animal science/pre-vet.
Kaitlyn Hoefer, the daughter of Karalyn Hoefer (Woods Brothers – Wilderness Hills), graduated from Friend High School in Friend, NE. She will be attending Southeast Community College in pursuit of a career in elementary and special education.
As one of real estate’s true “Partners of the Community,” we at AmeriSpec/TNT believe education is the key to a successful future. AmeriSpec Nebraska has awarded $13,500 in scholarships to students in our communities.
Our commitment to education is another way that we will continue to differentiate ourselves from other inspection companies in the Omaha and Lincoln metropolitan areas.
