AmeriSpec Inspection Services and TNT Termite Services proudly announce the winners of the 2011 Future Leaders Scholarship Awards. They are Amanda Boothe of Omaha, and Sarah Lamphere and Ashleigh Obrist, both of Lincoln.
The Future Leaders Scholarship Program was launched in 2010 as a part of our “Partner in the Community” efforts in support of the local real estate industry, with the intentions of providing educational assistance for leaders of tomorrow.
The recipients of the three one-year $1,500 scholarships were selected based on preparatory school records and scores on college entrance exams, as well as on character.
In addition, each recipient must demonstrate good citizenship, be a participant/leader in extracurricular activities and have work-related experiences during their high school years.
Amanda Boothe, the daughter of Samara Boothe (Keller Williams – LaVista) and Jon Boothe, graduated from Brownell Talbot High School in Omaha. She will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall and pursuing a biology major.
Sarah Lamphere, the daughter of Jim Lamphere (Nebraska Land Title & Abstract) and Amy Lamphere, graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in Lincoln. Sarah will be attending the University of Kansas and pursuing a major in humanities.
Ashleigh Obrist, the daughter of Kent Obrist (Woods Brothers – Country Club) and Chris Obrist, graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in Lincoln. She will be attending Southeast Community College in pursuit of a career in nursing.
As one of real estate’s true “Partners of the Community,” we at AmeriSpec/TNT believe education is the key to a successful future. Our commitment to education is another way that we will continue to differentiate ourselves from other inspection companies in the Omaha and Lincoln metropolitan areas.
